Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland is seeking an experienced Investment Fund Financial Reporting professional to lead complex engagements across jurisdictions. You will own fund reporting, review statements and disclosures, and develop client relationships while guiding teams.

The role requires 8+ years in fund reporting, with strong Excel skills and experience with US GAAP, IFRS and Lux GAAP. You will help drive AI-enabled reporting and strategic initiatives within a collaborative, diverse firm.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CPA qualification or equivalent IFAC credential.
• 8+ years in investment fund financial reporting with 3+ years leading teams and managing multiple clients.
• Deep expertise in investment fund financial reporting with US GAAP, IFRS, and Lux GAAP knowledge.
• Proven ability to lead change, manage risk and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills with excellent report writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead fund reporting engagements and ensure quality, risk, profitability and delivery.
• Review financial statements, disclosures and supporting schedules for completeness and consistency.
• Oversee complex accounting and disclosure matters across jurisdictions and asset classes.
• Develop senior client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Provide leadership on regulatory and reporting matters and drive AI-enabled reporting initiatives.
• Lead workforce planning, recruitment and performance development to improve team outcomes.
• May participate in fund accounting engagements and other regulatory reporting activities.
