Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland is looking for a qualified Fund Reporting professional to lead day-to-day financial reporting engagements for asset management clients, including coordinating preparers and reviewers to meet deadlines.

The role involves coaching team members on fund reporting, applying US GAAP, IFRS and Lux GAAP, and embedding AI-enabled controls into workflows while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CPA or IFAC equivalent with 4–5 years of fund financial reporting experience.
• Experience leading teams, coordinating projects, and delivering client deliverables.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and Lux GAAP in investment fund reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office; ability to provide clear review feedback.
• Knowledge of AI risks, data privacy and responsible-use requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of financial reporting engagements for asset management clients.
• Review financial statements and supporting schedules for completeness and consistency.
• Manage project plans, deadlines, open-item trackers and client communications.
• Coach team members on fund reporting requirements and review standards.
• Embed AI-enabled workflows and ensure proper human review of AI-assisted work.
• Build strong client relationships and participate in related regulatory reporting activities.
