Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland seeks an experienced Fund Reporting Senior to join our asset management practice in Cork. You will lead and review fund financial reporting engagements, drive automation initiatives and manage client relationships with clarity and integrity.

The role requires ACA/ACCA/CPA qualification, 6–8 years in investment fund reporting and at least 3 years of team leadership, with strong Excel and MS Office skills and ability to oversee complex disclosures under IFRS, US GAAP and Lux

Qualifications

ACA/ACCA/CPA qualified or equivalent IFAC qualification.
6–8 years of experience in investment fund financial reporting, incl. 3+ years leading teams.
Deep knowledge of investment fund reporting under IFRS, US GAAP and Lux GAAP.
Strong Excel and MS Office, with effective communication and stakeholder management.
Ability to assess AI use cases and control risks without compromising reporting quality.

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of investment fund reporting clients with accountability for quality, timelines and budgets.
Review financial statements, disclosures, schedules and audit support packs for completeness.
Lead client, auditor and administrator relationships and resolve significant issues.
Develop team capability through coaching and training, ensuring succession planning.
Lead AI and automation initiatives across the reporting lifecycle with proper controls.
May be involved in fund accounting engagements and regulatory reporting activities.
