Apex Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Finance Manager to join the Irish Finance team. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, strong balance sheet control and meaningful monthly analysis for two key regional businesses.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in financial accounting and month‑end reporting within a corporate or professional services environment.
• Solid understanding of accruals, prepayments, deferred revenue and balance sheet management.
• Experience preparing management accounts and explaining financial performance to non‑finance stakeholders.
• High level of attention to detail with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and timely month‑end close with journals, accruals, prepayments and revenue entries.
• Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts with robust supporting documentation.
• Ensure costs and revenues are recorded in line with accounting standards, budgets and prior periods.
• Produce monthly management reporting with variance analysis for senior stakeholders.
• Lead a small multi‑jurisdictional team and manage intercompany processes and audits.
