Job summary

John Paul Construction is seeking a motivated Innovation Project Manager to lead the identification, development and embedding of innovative solutions across the business — from new materials and construction technologies to process improvements and digital tools. The role reports to the Group Innovation Director and works with Design Managers and Project Managers on live projects.

The successful candidate will collaborate across departments, drive the innovation agenda, and support R&D

Qualifications

• Background in project management or engineering with interest in innovation.
• Construction industry experience is advantageous but not required.
• Ability to collate information from live projects into an innovation pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential innovations, new products and technologies.
• Engage with project teams and stakeholders to capture challenges and opportunities.
• Develop and review the company’s Innovation Strategy and roadmap.
• Support R&D recording, cost tracking and revenue claims processes.
• Plan and facilitate innovation workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions.
