Job summary

Praxis Care is seeking a dedicated Support Worker in Balreask Navan to provide person-centred support across full time, part time and relief patterns. You will assist with daily living, personal care and social activities to help individuals achieve their goals.

You will collaborate with Team Leaders to develop and implement plans, maintain records, and participate in training while embracing company values. A driving licence and flexible hours are advantageous, with sleep-ins paid when required.

Qualifications

• Numeracy and literacy skills.
• Effective communication with individuals and teams.
• Experience working in health and social care is desirable.
• Full valid driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Support and empower individuals to develop independent living skills as identified in person-centred plans.
• Work with Team Leaders to prepare and implement individual and group support programmes.
• Promote a safe working and living environment and manage conflict or challenging behaviours using appropriate techniques and language.
• Ensure that medication is stored and administered in accordance with Praxis Care’s Medication Policy where necessary.
• Familiarise yourself with all administrative requirements and ensure reporting guidelines are followed.
