Job summary

Praxis Care is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for Manor View, Leitrim. The role involves delivering person-centred support to individuals, promoting independence and dignity within a safe, respectful environment.

You will work across patterns including full-time, part-time and relief, with salaries based on a 39-hour full-time equivalent and pro-rata for contracted hours. A driving licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support and empower individuals to develop independent living skills as identified in person-centred plans.
• Prepare and implement individual and group support programmes with Team Leaders.
• Promote a safe working and living environment and handle conflict using appropriate techniques.
• Ensure that medication storage and administration follow policy where necessary.
• Complete administrative requirements and maintain accurate records per reporting guidelines.
• Adhere to all service policies and participate in related training.
