Job summary

The Rehab Group in Kilkenny is seeking an Evolve Instructor on a fixed-term basis for 12 months, part-time (18 hours per week). The role focuses on training Learners within QQI modules and supporting their career and educational choices.

Applicants should have a third-level qualification in Education/Training and a Train the Trainer QQI Level 6, with knowledge of QQI requirements and several years’ experience with learners in educational settings. An inclusive workplace environment is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Third level qualification in Education/Training (preferred).
• Train the Trainer QQI Level 6 or higher.
• Knowledge of QQI programme requirements, assessment procedures and QA processes.
• Several years’ experience with learners in educational/ guidance contexts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the co-ordination, delivery and assessment of QQI modules.
• Provide systematic training according to curricula; maintain learner progress records.
• Mentor learners by example and feedback to develop timetable and work attitudes.
• Develop resources for each accredited module.
• Report to the Centre Manager on Programme delivery and learner progress.
• Perform duties to support centre staff and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Co-operate with stakeholders such as the local ETB as required.
