Job summary

The Rehab Group is seeking a Vocational Training Instructor for a fixed-term contract (12 months) in Ireland. The role involves training Learners under QQI certification specifications, guiding career and education directions, and maintaining training programme operations.

You will facilitate engaging sessions, support learners with diverse needs, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes and progression to further education or employment.

Qualifications

• Third level qualification in Education/Training or Social Sciences.
• A relevant pedagogical/training qualification - QQI Level 6 or higher.
• Several years of experience with Learners in educational/guidance contexts.
• Experience with QQI certification and accreditation processes.
• Excellent facilitation and presentation skills; strong interpersonal, communication and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide systematic training according to curricula and certify QQI Level modules.
• Help Learners develop knowledge, skills and confidence for progression.
• Meet KPIs related to learner placement, progression and certification targets.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to maintain programme allocations.
• Assist Learners in reviewing experiences and planning future goals.
• Develop Individual Action Plans to support progression and assess vocational needs.
• Source and support work experience placements and model professional work behaviours.
