Job summary

MCS Group | Your Specialist Recruitment Consultancy has an opening for an ICT Field Service Engineer in Co Louth, Ireland. You will provide remote and onsite IT support, maintaining secure environments while supporting customer projects and infrastructure improvements.

The role suits an experienced engineer who enjoys direct customer interaction, troubleshooting varied technologies and delivering reliable, secure IT services across environments. A full, clean driving licence is required.

Qualifications

Two+ years in ICT support, infrastructure or engineering.
Experience with Windows Server and Windows Desktop environments.
Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online.
Good networking knowledge: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls, VPNs.

Responsibilities

Provide remote and onsite support across customer infrastructure, networks, servers and Microsoft 365 environments.
Take ownership of technical issues from diagnosis to resolution.
Install, configure and maintain servers, virtual environments, network equipment and related infrastructure.
Support backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
Monitor systems and perform proactive maintenance; suggest improvements.
Assist with upgrades, migrations and customer projects.
Maintain accurate technical documentation and customer records.
