Job summary
Microminder, part of the DD Group, is seeking an IT Field Service Engineer to join our ROI team. You’ll split your time between customer sites and remote support, maintaining IT systems and delivering outstanding service across UK and Ireland.
Ideal candidates have MSP experience, 3+ years in IT support, a full UK driving licence, and strong troubleshooting and communication skills, with Microsoft 365 and Windows Server expertise.
Qualifications
- Experience working in an MSP or IT Support environment.
- Technical Support experience: 3+ years preferred.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
- Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
- Strong desktop, hardware and networking experience.
- Experience using remote support tools.
- Knowledge of VoIP systems.
Responsibilities
- Split time between customer sites and remote support to keep IT running smoothly.
- Provide first-class service and rapid issue resolution.
- Support Microsoft 365 environments and related services.
- Manage Windows Server infrastructure including AD, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
- Utilise remote support tools to diagnose and fix problems.
- Prioritise workloads and manage multiple customer requests.
