Job summary

Microminder, part of the DD Group, is seeking an IT Field Service Engineer to join our ROI team. You will split time between customer sites and remote support, delivering high-quality service while keeping IT running smoothly.

You will install and support hardware, software, and network infrastructure, with responsibilities including Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and VoIP systems. A UK driving licence and a proactive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in MSP or IT Support environment.
• Technical support experience: 3+ years.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• Strong desktop, hardware and networking experience.
• Experience using remote support tools.
• Knowledge of VoIP systems.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple customer requests.
• Proactive attitude and a genuine passion for technology.
• Nice-to-have: Datto RMM and PSA experience.
• Healthcare or dental IT experience and Digital X-Ray knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and onsite technical support for a wide range of IT issues.
• Install and configure hardware, software and network infrastructure.
• Support Microsoft 365 and Windows Server environments.
• Troubleshoot networking, desktop and server issues.
• Carry out maintenance visits, emergency call-outs and project work.
• Complete site surveys and infrastructure assessments; install and support VoIP solutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ticket updates in our service portal.
• Work closely with the Service Delivery Team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
