Job summary

Microminder, part of the DD Group, is seeking an IT Field Service Engineer to join our ROI team. You will travel between customer sites and remote sessions to keep IT systems running smoothly and deliver a first-class customer experience.

Ideally you have MSP/IT Support experience, 3+ years in technical support, and a valid UK driving licence. The role offers varied work, training and progression within a growing group.

Qualifications

• Experience working within an MSP or IT Support environment.
• Technical Support experience: 3+ years preferred.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
• Good knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• Strong desktop, hardware and networking experience.
• Experience using remote support tools.
• Knowledge of VoIP systems.
• The ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple customer requests.
• A proactive attitude and a genuine passion for technology.

Responsibilities

• Providing remote and onsite technical support for a wide range of IT issues.
• Installing and configuring hardware, software and network infrastructure.
• Supporting Microsoft 365 and Windows Server environments.
• Troubleshooting networking, desktop and server issues.
• Carrying out maintenance visits, emergency call-outs and project work.
• Completing site surveys and infrastructure assessments.
• Installing and supporting VoIP solutions.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and ticket updates within our service management platform.
• Working closely with our Service Delivery Team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
