Job summary

Anson McCade Pty in Ireland is seeking an ICT Field Service Engineer to join its customer support and infrastructure team in Dundalk. The role blends remote and onsite support with infrastructure projects, upgrades and migrations across networks, servers and Microsoft 365 environments.

You will own issues from initial triage to resolution, travel regularly to client sites and help maintain secure, reliable IT systems with strong customer service and clear communication.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in an ICT support, infrastructure or engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Desktop and Windows Server environments.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online.
• A good understanding of networking, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls and VPNs.
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS and DHCP.
• Familiarity with virtualisation, backup and recovery technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to take technical issues through to resolution.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• A full clean driving licence and willingness to travel regularly to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and onsite ICT support to customers, including infrastructure projects, upgrades and migrations.
• Support customer networks, servers and Microsoft 365 environments and ensure secure, reliable IT systems.
• Take ownership of issues from triage to resolution and communicate clearly with customers.
