Job summary

Anson McCade Pty in Ireland seeks an experienced ICT Support Engineer to join the customer support and infrastructure team. You will provide remote and onsite technical support, manage Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and networking, and help secure customer IT environments.

You will diagnose issues, implement fixes, and contribute to backups, DR, and project work while maintaining clear documentation and strong customer communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in an ICT support, infrastructure or engineering role.
• Strong Windows Desktop and Windows Server knowledge.
• Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online administration.
• Active Directory, DNS and DHCP knowledge.
• Solid networking: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls, VPNs.
• Familiarity with virtualisation and backup technologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting and customer-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Remote and onsite support for customer infrastructure, networks, servers and Microsoft 365 environments
• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues, owning them through to completion
• Installing, configuring and maintaining servers, virtual environments and networking equipment
• Supporting backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions
• Monitoring systems, carrying out proactive maintenance and implementing improvements
• Assisting with infrastructure upgrades, migrations and customer projects
• Keeping technical documentation and customer records accurate
• Applying security best practice: patching, access controls, MFA and endpoint protection
