Job summary

Ergo IT Recruitment Services is seeking an IT Field Engineer to support a major roll-out across Dublin with travel to client sites. You should have 4+ years of hands-on field experience and thrive in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

Responsibilities include deploying, imaging, and configuring PCs and smart devices, supporting VMware desktops, Windows Server/Active Directory, and maintaining Cisco/HP/Aruba networking gear.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in IT Field Support.
• Strong virtualization (VMware) and networking skills.
• Full clean driving license and your own vehicle.
• IT qualification or relevant professional certifications.
• An ability to work in Central Dublin 1 Day per week (Essential)

• Support VMware virtual desktops and Windows Server/Active Directory environments.
• Maintain Cisco, HP, and Aruba networking hardware, plus network patching.
• Support specialised infrastructure, including CCTV, Control Room services, digital radios, and Avaya/Cisco telephony.
• Keep networked printers/scanners running smoothly and document technical processes.
