Job summary

MongoDB in Dublin is hiring a Technical Services Engineer for a hybrid shift. You will join a team that troubleshoots complex MongoDB deployment issues, working with customers and partners to optimize architecture, performance, recovery, and security.

You will mentor new engineers, contribute to internal tooling, and collaborate with product teams to shape support for Atlas, Cloud Manager, and the broader MongoDB ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Hands-on systems engineering including Linux performance, memory management, I/O tuning, security.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts like DNS, TCP/IP, and SSL/TLS.
• Experience with production database systems (RDBMS or NoSQL).
• Basic coding or scripting in Java, Python, Ruby, C/C++, JavaScript, Node.js, or Go.
• Excellent communication and ability to work under pressure.
