Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect based in Dublin for a hybrid work model. You will guide customers in designing scalable, reliable systems on the MongoDB data platform, working closely with sales and engineering to win deals and ensure customer success.

Qualifications

5–8 years of related industry experience, including 2 years in a customer-facing role.
Minimum of 2 years experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python, Node.js, SQL) or programming languages (e.g. C/C++, Java, C#).
Experience building scalable distributed systems in cloud and on-prem environments.
Ability to review complex architecture with customers and advise on improvements.
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills for leadership audiences.
Ability to work with a cross-functional sales team through end-to-end deal cycles.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Fluency in Italian.

Responsibilities

Design scalable, performant applications and infrastructure using MongoDB.
Advise customers on architecture patterns and quantify business value.
Partner with sales to plan opportunities, qualify pipelines and support technical discovery, demos, and value proofs.
Generate demand within the sales territory through technical initiatives and events.
Foster customer relationships, champions, and overall satisfaction.
Mentor other Solutions Consulting team members and share field feedback with product teams.
Pursue ongoing training to stay current with MongoDB products and industry trends.
