Job summary

MongoDB in Dublin is seeking a Pre-Sales Solution Architect to guide customers in designing scalable data platform solutions. You will work with sales to win deals, review complex architectures, and articulate technical and business value in cross-functional settings.

You will contribute to end-to-end deal cycles, support hybrid work in Dublin, and bring 5–8 years of related experience, including 2+ years in customer-facing roles, with strong scripting and programming skills and fluent Italian.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years in related industry; ideally 2 years in a customer-facing role.
• Minimum of 2 years experience with modern scripting languages (Python, Node.js, SQL) and/or popular programming languages (C/C++, Java, C#).
• Experience implementing scalable distributed systems in the cloud and on-prem.
• Ability to review complex architecture with customers and guide improvements.
• Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to travel up to 25%.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; fluent in Italian.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable and performant applications, systems and infrastructure for large software projects leveraging MongoDB.
• Guide customers on architecture patterns and optimisation strategies, communicating business value.
• Collaborate with the sales team for account planning and pipeline generation, handling technical discovery and demos.
• Proactively generate demand through technical initiatives and industry events.
• Foster strong customer relationships and ensure success and satisfaction.
• Mentor other Solutions Consulting team members and stay updated on MongoDB products.
