Job summary

MongoDB Inc. is seeking a Sr. Manager, Event Operations to lead the operating model behind its global Strategic Events portfolio.

The role designs how work is prioritized, resourced, and measured, while steering the team that runs events at scale. The leader will apply AI, automation, and modern tech to improve execution and impact. Based in Dublin for our hybrid model, you will build playbooks, govern tools like Wrike/JIRA/Cvent/Luma, and partner with Sales, Marketing, and Partner teams.

Qualifications

8+ years in event operations, event marketing, or marketing operations with strategic impact.
Proven ability to lead and develop teams across time zones.
Hands-on experience applying AI and automation to operational workflows.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the Strategic Events Operations team, setting priorities and standards.
Design and own the event operating model, workflows, and playbooks for scalable execution.
Own events tech, data ecosystem, and reporting, integrating tools and automation where appropriate.
Plan capacity, manage global calendars, and surface resourcing risks early.
Drive measurement and reporting with clear senior-level recommendations.
