Job summary

Airport Staff is seeking an experienced Air Freight Pricing Specialist to join a North Dublin team on a fixed-term contract through January 2028. The role focuses on delivering competitive air freight pricing across customer accounts and the global network, with emphasis on pharmaceutical logistics and tender support.

You will work with Sales, Operations and Management to shape pricing strategies, manage RFQs/RFIs, and drive profitable growth while maintaining airline partnerships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Air Freight Operations and Procurement.
• Strong commercial pricing experience for air freight.
• Experience with RFQs, RFIs, tenders and airline procurement.
• Experience within pharmaceutical logistics is highly desirable.
• Ability to analyse pricing data and support commercial decisions.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for all air freight pricing requests.
• Deliver accurate, competitive pricing within agreed timelines.
• Support the development and growth of the air freight offering.
• Design end-to-end air freight solutions tailored to customer requirements.
• Collaborate to develop pricing strategies aligned with market conditions.
• Maintain awareness of air freight market trends and rate developments.
• Build relationships with key airline partners and suppliers.
• Identify opportunities for growth, margin improvement, and business development.
• Support bid/tender processes from quotation to execution.
• Maintain and analyse pricing data to identify trends and improvements.
• Assist across other logistics products when required.
• Drive continuous improvement through analysis, reporting, and process optimisation.
