Job summary

Stantec Ireland is seeking Engineers and Project Managers to support our Energy team across Civil, Structural, Mechanical, SCADA and Electrical disciplines, focusing on High Voltage transmission and renewable energy projects.

Join a rapidly growing team working on HV substations, cables, and offshore wind, delivering planning, design, and delivery across major energy infrastructure with clients, developers and EPC contractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in energy projects.
• At least 3 years' experience in High Voltage, Transmission or Renewable Energy projects.
• Experience across Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, SCADA, HV Transmission or Project Management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare feasibility studies, site assessments, and technical evaluations for transmission and renewable energy projects.
• Develop technical specifications, tender docs, and procurement requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, consultants and EPC contractors.
• Manage technical inputs from internal and external teams and review EPC contractor designs.
• Support inspection activities, FAT, PQ and TT for HV systems and assist in detailed design reviews.
