Job summary

Stantec Ireland is seeking engineers and project managers to join our Energy team, focusing on civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, SCADA and HV transmission projects. You will work on HV substations, cables, OHL and offshore wind with clients, developers and EPC contractors.

We value a Level 8 Engineering degree and at least five years post-qualifications experience, including three in HV or renewable energy. Flexible working and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience, with 3+ years in HV, transmission or renewable energy projects.
• Degree in Engineering or related discipline at Level 8 or higher.
• Strong communication and coordination in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare feasibility studies, site assessments, and technical evaluations for transmission/renewable projects.
• Develop technical specifications, tender docs and procurement requirements.
• Coordinate inputs from internal/external teams and review EPC contractor designs.
• Support design reviews and commissioning tests for HV systems and projects.
