Stantec is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Ireland to lead high-voltage cable design across major energy projects. You’ll work on HVDC interconnectors, wind farms, substations, and grid connections, supporting FEED to delivery within a multidisciplinary team.

You will mentor junior engineers, engage with clients like EirGrid, and contribute to innovative, compliant solutions while advancing your career in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-voltage cable design across FEED to detailed design.
• Strong understanding of electricity transmission and distribution sector.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead design activities across all project phases—from feasibility and FEED through to detailed design and delivery.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including clients such as EirGrid.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to innovative, practical solutions.
