Job summary

Stantec Ireland is expanding its Energy team to design and deliver high-voltage cable systems for major infrastructure and renewable projects across Ireland. You will work across HVDC interconnectors, wind farms, substations, and grid connections, supporting from feasibility to detailed design and delivery.

The role involves collaboration with internal teams and clients, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to a dynamic, innovation-driven environment within Stantec.

Qualifications

• Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• Membership of Institution of Engineers of Ireland (EI) preferred.
• Hands-on design experience for transmission and distribution systems across FEED to Detail Design.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead high-voltage cable design activities across HVDC, offshore/onshore wind, substations and grid schemes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver feasible, safe, and compliant engineering solutions.
