Job summary

Harbourne Associates is seeking an HR Manager to lead the HR department for a market-leading construction company in Dublin. The role covers recruitment lifecycle, employee relations, policy development, training coordination, payroll oversight and performance management.

The ideal candidate will have strong HR experience, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of employment law in the UK and Ireland; confidentiality and multitasking are essential as the role runs the HR

**HR Manager – Market Leading Construction - Dublin**

We are currently recruiting for a market leading construction company who are known for their exceptional service to customers and the quality of their products/systems. The company have a strong emphasis on quality, client service and technical excellence. The company have offices worldwide, a strong pipeline of large, bespoke projects and looking for a HR Manager to run the HR department (no direct reports)

Role:

You will be responsible for -

  • Oversee job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding processes.
  • Employee Relations: Handle workplace conflicts, formal grievances, and disciplinary actions fairly.
  • Compliance and Policy: Develop workplace policies and ensure adherence to local labour laws and employment regulations.
  • Training and Development: Identify skill gaps and coordinate staff training or professional growth programs.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Monitor pay structures, manage payroll processing, and administer employee perks.
  • Performance Management: Oversee performance appraisal systems and review employee output.
Candidate:

The ideal candidate will –

  • Strong experience in HR roles previously.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to handle sensitive employee matters with empathy.
  • Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of employment law and regulatory compliance for the UK and Ireland.
  • Organization: Ability to multitask, manage budgets, and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Ability to run a HR department solely.
Package:
  • Basic Salary: €60,000 - €75,000 (negotiable based on experience)
  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
  • Life assurance
