Job summary

STRIVE Search is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join a growing multinational construction and engineering business with operations across Ireland and Europe. Reporting to the Head of HR, this hands-on role supports managers and staff across the full employee lifecycle with a strong focus on ER, recruitment, performance and OD.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Generalist HR experience with focus on HRBP.
• Strong employee relations across disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance matters.
• Experience managing recruitment and onboarding in fast-paced, multi-site/project environments.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for managers and employees on HR/ER matters.
• Partner with hiring managers on recruitment, workforce planning, onboarding and probation.
• Support performance management, talent development, and succession planning.
• Manage employee lifecycle processes including movements, offboarding and exit interviews.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with legislation and policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for managers and employees on HR and employee relations matters, including performance, absence, conduct and grievances.
• Partner with hiring managers across recruitment, workforce planning, onboarding and probation.
• Support performance management, talent development, succession planning and organisational change initiatives.
• Manage employee lifecycle processes, including employee movements, offboarding and exit interviews.
• Maintain accurate HR records, produce HR reporting and ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.

Key Skills & Experience

• 3+ years' experience in a Generalist HR role, with strong exposure to HR Business Partnering.
• Strong employee relations experience across disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance matters.
• Experience managing recruitment and onboarding within a fast-paced, multi-site or project-based environment.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent, with strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation and HR best practice.
