Job summary

Advance TRS is recruiting a Health, Safety & Environmental Assistant for the West Apron Vehicle Underpass project at Dublin Airport. The role supports safe planning, inspections, and incident investigations within a live infrastructure environment.

Based in Dublin Airport, you will work closely with the HSE team and construction managers to ensure compliance with Irish safety legislation, deliver toolbox talks, and help drive continuous improvements on a major scheme due to complete in 2030.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ construction experience in a similar role.
• NEBOSH Certificate in Construction Safety and Health or NEBOSH Diploma as required.
• Strong knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation relevant to construction.
• Safe Pass card appropriate to the role.
• Full driving licence.
• Legal right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
• Willingness to complete five-year background screening.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation, review and approval of safe systems of work, including risk assessments, method statements and work plans.
• Advise construction managers on the safety documentation required for upcoming activities.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of logistics and traffic management plans.
• Support workforce enrolment, site inductions and checks on training and qualifications.
• Carry out health and safety inspections and audits, report findings and follow up corrective actions.
• Attend and contribute to project health and safety meetings.
• Help develop and deliver toolbox talks and other safety briefings.
• Support incident investigations and the sharing of lessons learned.
• Build effective working relationships across the project team and supply chain.
