Job summary

Advance TRS is recruiting a Structures Foreman to support the Dublin Airport West Apron Vehicle Underpass project. This hands‑on leadership role focuses on reinforced concrete and formwork, coordinating crews and subcontractors in a live airport environment.

The successful candidate will oversee daily production, ensure works meet drawings and specs, manage safety, and align with the project schedule through effective planning and communication.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering reinforced concrete and structural works.
• Experience supervising direct labour and subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of structural construction methods, drawings and sequencing.
• Experience leading crews in safety-critical environments.
• Valid Safe Pass and CSCS Supervisor certification, or equivalent.
• Legal right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
• Willingness to complete five-year background screening and obtain airport security clearance.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise direct labour and subcontractors delivering reinforced concrete and associated structural works.
• Plan daily activities against the short-term programme and allocate labour, plant and materials effectively.
• Coordinate formwork, reinforcement and concrete operations with engineers, adjacent trades and logistics teams.
• Deliver daily briefings and toolbox talks, ensuring crews understand method statements, risk assessments and site requirements.
• Maintain compliance with HSEQ standards, airport safety procedures, permits and access requirements.
• Check works against drawings, specifications and inspection and test plans.
• Support pre‑pour checks, concrete inspections and quality sign‑offs, ensuring defects are addressed promptly.
• Monitor productivity, identify constraints and support recovery planning and resequencing.
• Maintain accurate site diaries, progress reports and resource allocation records.
• Support snagging, handover and close‑out activities.
