Job summary

daa is seeking a Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Lead to join the HSE team as part of Dublin Airport's €3bn capital investment programme. You will advise on compliance with HSE policy and statutory requirements, lead by example, and mobilise project contractors to uphold the highest HSE standards across programmes.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher in health and safety systems.
• Certificate or higher in environmental studies.
• Chartered member of IOSH, IEMA, or CRSP.
• 10+ years of HSE experience across major infrastructure projects.
• Experience in aviation industry preferred.
• Experience implementing and managing on-site HSE.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of HSE in developing and implementing an HSE Management System with KPIs and reporting.
• Provide oversight of HSE performance within programmes.
• Advise programmes on HSE considerations, risks and legislation changes.
• Conduct HSE audits, targeted inspections and site visits.
• Review PSDP/PSCS documentation in line with project scope and complexity.
• Review safety files and ensure incident investigations with SMART corrective actions.
• Report HSE performance using suitable KPIs and data dashboards.
• Lead best practice in HSE across the programmes.
