Job summary

Northern Trust in Ireland seeks a Senior Consultant, Strategic Initiatives & Continuous Improvement to lead cross-functional projects across HR Operations. You will map processes, design solutions, and drive automation and AI initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and risk management.

Qualifications

Experience in Operations/Shared Services, Consulting, Project Management or Continuous Improvement.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience leading cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Experience with Workday, ServiceNow, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or project management methodologies.
Experience supporting automation, digital transformation, or AI initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic and continuous improvement initiatives from concept through implementation.
Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve efficiency, and reduce operational risk.
Facilitate process mapping, solution design, and stakeholder workshops.
Analyse operational data and develop insights to support decision-making.
Support the implementation of technology, automation, AI, and self-service solutions.
Develop business cases, project plans, governance materials, and executive presentations.
Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and benefits realisation.
Partner with HR, Technology, Risk, and business stakeholders to drive change and adoption.
