Job summary

Engage People is seeking an HR Generalist to join their team in Dublin or Wexford. This hands-on role covers the full employee lifecycle, HR administration, onboarding, employee relations support, HR systems and process improvement.

The successful candidate will have 3–5 years in HR, experience with HRIS (Workday a plus), and a CIPD qualification or equivalent. You’ll be part of a growing organisation delivering a positive employee experience.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in HR Coordinator/Administrator/Generalist roles.
• Experience using an HRIS; Workday is advantageous.
• CIPD qualification or working towards CIPD, or a relevant HR/business qualification.
• Solid knowledge of Irish employment legislation and data privacy.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with high confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding activities, including document prep and new starter processes.
• Maintain accurate employee records and data integrity across HR systems.
• Process HR transactions: hires, changes, promotions, leavers.
• Respond to HR queries via HR inbox promptly and professionally.
• Prepare employment letters and contract amendments.
• Support probation tracking, renewals and HR administration.
• Act as first point of contact for general HR queries.
• Support employee relations processes and maintain case trackers.
• Assist with sickness/absence management and return-to-work arrangements.
• Provide administrative support to managers on HR projects and communications.
