Job summary

Barden is seeking an HR Generalist to join a client in North Cork. You will gain hands-on experience across the full employee lifecycle, from contracts and onboarding to employee relations and engagement.

This is a broad role in a close-knit HR team, ideal for building an HR career. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will support day-to-day activities, maintain records, assist with contracts and leave, support recruitment and onboarding, handle employee relations queries, and help roll out

Qualifications

• Third-level qualification in HR or related discipline.
• Two to three years’ experience in an HR role.
• Strong communication, organisation, and attention to detail.
• Discreet with confidential information.
• Knowledge of GDPR; CIPD membership or study is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the HR Manager across the business day to day.
• Keep employee records and the HRIS accurate, and liaise with payroll.
• Help prepare contracts of employment and manage leave administration.
• Support recruitment and onboarding, from advertising to induction.
• Assist with employee relations queries, grievances, and disciplinary processes.
• Help roll out employee engagement initiatives.
