Job summary

Crosscare is seeking a Housing Case Worker to provide 24-hour short-term residential support for adults experiencing homelessness in Dublin. The role involves case management, one-to-one work, tenancy support, and liaising with external services to help residents secure long-term housing.

Reporting to the Deputy Project/Project Leader, you will operate in a challenging environment while upholding care standards, safety, and quality of service. Closing date Sept 16, 2026.

Qualifications

• BA Degree in Applied Social Care, Addiction, Mental Health, Nursing, Psychology, or equivalent Level 7 qualification (NFQ/QQI)
• Level 6 qualification in Social Care or Addiction (NFQ/QQI)
• At least 1 year of relevant employment with a similar client group

Responsibilities

• Implement the case management system and engage in one-to-one work with an allocated caseload from referral to disengagement
• Engage with residents to establish tenancies by identifying suitable properties and assisting with viewings
• Advocate on behalf of clients and link them to appropriate services
• Ensure safety, health and housing supports are in place and manage administrative duties for smooth operations
