Job summary

Crosscare seeks a Housing Case Worker to support residents in securing housing options and establishing tenancies. You will assist with property search, viewings, landlord negotiations and tenancy compliance in a community setting at Family Hub, Drumcondra.

The role requires experience in homelessness services, Level 7+ qualifications, and ability to work evenings/weekends on a 7-day rota. Salary €39,625–€49,205; permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 7 degree in Social Care or related field.
• Addiction Studies degree preferred; housing policy knowledge beneficial.
• External candidates require homelessness experience or related training.

Responsibilities

• Admit residents and provide full induction.
• Assess residents to identify housing options and needs.
• Help residents identify and contact landlords and lettings agents.
• Arrange viewings and assist with tenancy negotiations.
• Explain HAP and tenancy terms to residents and families.
• accompany tenancy signings and report outcomes.
• Refer clients to tenancy sustainment programmes.
• Maintain knowledge of local services and partners.
• Record outcomes and support continuity of care.
