Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for our Cork properties. This on-site, full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to lead hotel operations, elevate guest experiences, and drive performance while shaping team culture.

You will report to the General Manager, directly lead department heads, and be responsible for profitability, KPI management, and strategic growth across the property in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of experience in a Deputy, Operations or Senior Manager role within a large hotel.
• Experience in people leadership and motivation.
• Strong commercial awareness and experience in managing KPIs, costs and revenues.
• Proven ability to nurture and develop talented employees.
• Excellent communication skills, with comfort in contributing to the overall hotel strategy.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic support to the General Manager for all hotel operations.
• Directly lead the heads of departments.
• Ensure that all staff are consistently motivated and engaged to deliver excellence in service.
• Succession Planning – Lead the development and continuous learning of the hotel staff.
• Ensure the best level of customer care within the property.
• Support the profitability and cost management of the hotel.
