Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group seeks an experienced Deputy General Manager to lead daily hotel operations and shape strategy. You will oversee department heads, motivate the team, and ensure exceptional service while driving profitability and growth across our properties.

You will report to the General Manager and play a key role in culture, talent development, and guest satisfaction across Ireland and our evolving portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–4 years in Deputy/Operations or Senior Manager in a large hotel.
• Proven staff leadership with ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Strong commercial awareness and KPI, cost and revenue management.
• Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic support to the General Manager for hotel operations.
• Directly lead heads of departments to ensure service excellence.
• Keep staff motivated and engaged to deliver exceptional service.
• Oversee succession planning and continuous learning for staff.
• Maintain highest level of customer care within the property.
• Support profitability and cost management efforts.
