Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for our Ireland portfolio. You will guide hotel operations, shape culture, and drive performance while fostering growth.

You will report to the General Manager and lead department heads to deliver exceptional guest experiences and strategic growth across the property.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in a Deputy, Operations or Senior Manager role within a large hotel.
• Experience in leading heads of departments and teams.
• Strong commercial awareness with KPI, cost and revenue management.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic support to the General Manager for all hotel operations.
• Directly lead the heads of departments.
• Ensure staff are motivated and engaged to deliver service excellence.
• Lead succession planning and staff development.
• Ensure top-level customer care within the property.
• Support profitability and cost management of the hotel.

As Operations Manager you will report to the General manager. You will guide and manage hotel operations effectively, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strategic growth, and high-performance standards while fostering a positive work environment and driving financial success.

Your Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic support to the General Manager for all hotel operations.


• Directly lead the heads of departments.


• Ensure that all staff are consistently motivated and engaged to deliver excellence in service.


• Succession Planning – Lead the development and continuous learning of the hotel staff.


• Ensure the best level of customer care within the property.


• Support the profitability and cost management of the hotel.

What You Will Need:

• 2 to 3 years of experience in a Deputy, Operations or Senior Manager Role within a large hotel.


• Experience in people leadership and motivation


• Strong commercial awareness and experience in managing KPIs, targets, costs and revenues.


• Proven ability to nurture and develop talented employees


• Excellent communication skills, with comfort in contributing to the overall hotel strategy.


• Confident, ambitious, and proactive in approach.
