Job summary

Comfort Homecare is seeking a Home Care Supervisor for Galway Region to lead, coordinate and develop our healthcare staff while ensuring delivery of high-quality home care. The role requires strong organisation, IT proficiency, and excellent communication to support clients’ independence at home.

You will work with the Home Care Manager, supervise staff, coordinate scheduling, and contribute to ongoing staff development.

Qualifications

• Relevant health or social care background.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Full clean driving licence with access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Home Care Manager and coordinate community-based care.
• Conduct spot checks with Healthcare Assistants and complete client reviews.
• Maintain client records and ensure policy updates are communicated.
• Provide scheduling support and emergency cover for new care packages.
• Attend weekly meetings and support regional growth initiatives.

Education

QQI Level 6 Major Award in Healthcare Support or equivalent
