Job summary

Comfort Homecare is seeking a Home Care Supervisor to support the Home Care Manager in coordinating and scheduling our community-based care teams. You will lead staff, ensure high-quality, compassionate care, and help clients live independently at home.

Strong organisational abilities, networking and IT proficiency are essential. You will report to the Home Care Manager, participate in weekly team check-ins, and contribute to staff development.

Qualifications

• Full QQI Level 6 Major Award in Healthcare Support or equivalent qualification.
• Valid full clean driving licence with access to a vehicle.
• Availability for a 5-out-of-7-day weekly schedule.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate community-based care delivery under the Home Care Manager.
• Conduct client reviews and ensure high-quality care standards.
• Support recruitment and staff scheduling with the HR team.
• Maintain accurate records on the company IT system.
