Logiskills in Dublin 2 is representing a healthcare organisation seeking an experienced Supplies Officer for a three-month agency assignment to support its Procurement and Stores function. Qualifications

• Relevant experience in stores, warehousing, inventory control or a supplies function.
• Practical experience using stock management, purchasing or warehouse software.
• Good computer skills including Excel and accurate data entry.

Responsabilités

• Receive and check deliveries against purchase orders and documentation; follow up on shortages or discrepancies.
• Record receipts, stock issues, returns and transfers on the stock management system.
• Pick and distribute supplies to departments and maintain stock/top-up levels.
• Use Genesis inventory software and barcode scanning to record stock movements and support Scan4Safety.
• Carry out stocktakes and investigate discrepancies between physical stock and records.
• Monitor expiry dates; rotate stock and maintain safe storage areas.
• Liaise with Procurement, Stores and clinical staff to resolve shortages promptly.
• Undertake administrative duties and comply with health and safety and confidentiality requirements.
