Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment in Ireland is seeking an experienced stores/inventory coordinator for hospital supplies. You will receive deliveries, record stock movements and ensure departments have what they need.

The role requires practical stores experience, familiarity with stock management software (Genesis, Agresso or similar), strong data entry and teamwork skills, with an eye for accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience in stores, warehousing or inventory control.
• Proficient with stock management or warehouse software.
• Attention to detail and accurate data entry.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and check against orders; follow up shortages.
• Record receipts, issues, returns and transfers in the stock system.
• Pick and distribute supplies to departments and maintain stock levels.
• Use Genesis inventory software and barcode scanners to record stock movements.
• Conduct stocktakes, investigate discrepancies and report issues.
• Monitor expiry dates and maintain safe, organised storage.
• Liaise with procurement and clinical staff to resolve shortages.
• Perform admin duties and comply with health, safety and confidentiality rules.
