Job summary

Prism Digital in Dublin is seeking a Head of SRE & Platform Operations to lead a cloud-agnostic Kubernetes platform build and runtime. This senior role focuses on leadership, reliability targets, and cross-functional governance rather than day-to-day coding.

You’ll manage a distributed team of 15–20 across three functions—operations, security/compliance, and customer experience—with budget authority over tooling and contractors. The role is on-site in Dublin four days a week.

Qualifications

• 10+ years SRE or cloud operations background.
• People leadership across globally distributed teams.
• Experience with incident command and Severity 1 responses.
• Managed services reliability and availability at scale.
• Regulated environments with compliance and audit demands.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability targets for the platform and lead the SRE/Platform Operations team.
• Chair Severity 1 incident calls and represent the business during escalations.
• Lead a team of 15–20 across three functions (operations & reliability, security & compliance, customer experience).
• Guide greenfield Kubernetes platform build and cloud-agnostic strategy.
• Balance hands-off leadership with budget authority over tooling and contractors.
