Job summary

Klaviyo is establishing a Site Reliability leadership in Dublin to scale reliability, security and performance for our global platform. You will build a center of excellence, define strategy, and grow a world-class team of engineers in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

You will guide incidents, embed reliability in design, and drive automation and GDPR compliance across engineering teams, balancing deep technical work with empowering leadership.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering with 5+ years in a leadership role managing SRE/DevOps teams.
• Proven experience building and scaling engineering teams, ideally with establishing a new team or office.
• Cloud-native production systems at scale (AWS preferred).
• Distributed systems, observability, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead the SRE org; build and mentor a Dublin-based team.
• Promote secure reliability across the full software lifecycle.
• Own platform integrity: availability, latency, performance, capacity.
• Drive automation with self-service tooling.
• Ensure GDPR compliance and data protection controls.
• Lead incidents and post-mortems to drive systemic improvements.
