Job summary

Klaviyo is hiring a foundational Site Reliability Engineering leader for our Dublin hub. You will build and lead a world-class SRE team, shaping reliability, security, and performance across the global platform.

You will own incidents, drive automation, and partner with product and platform teams to embed reliability throughout the software lifecycle. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership to scale with our growth.

Qualifications

• Proven engineering leader with scaling SRE/DevOps teams.
• Experience building new teams or offices.
• Hands-on with cloud-native production systems at scale (AWS preferred).
• Strong background in distributed systems, observability, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Define vision, strategy, and roadmap for a unified SRE org in Dublin.
• Lead a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and foster operational excellence.
• Own platform availability, latency, performance, and capacity planning.
• Drive automation with self-service tooling and infrastructure.
• Ensure GDPR and data protection compliance across systems.
• Lead incident response and blameless post-mortems to drive improvements.
