Job summary

Flutter Entertainment is seeking a Head of Security Operations and Engineering to lead our global security teams across Flutter Functions. You will design, build, and operate scalable security capabilities, combining real-time defense with engineering-led improvements and AI-enabled tooling to detect, respond, and prevent threats at pace.

Qualifications

• Senior technology leadership experience in a fast-paced online/eCommerce environment.
• Proven track record in building, leading and transforming security operations and engineering teams.
• Strong grasp of cloud security, incident response, threat intelligence and automation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead Security Operations and Engineering teams securing global services.
• Set and execute Cloud Security Strategy within Technology Operations.
• Collaborate with vendors (AWS, Wiz, Crowdstrike, etc.) to maximize value from partnerships.
• Adopt Agentic AI into detection and response to accelerate analysis and response.
• Lead incidents and mentor teams for confident management during scenarios.
• Institute AI-augmented Risk and Vulnerability Management practices.
• Ensure compliance with data protection, risk, audit, and regulatory standards.
• Build SOC capabilities to respond at machine speed to AI-based threats.
• Align DevSecOps practices with other tech teams and drive knowledge sharing.
