Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Director of Security Engineering in Ireland to lead a globally distributed team that builds and operates enterprise security platforms. You will own an AI-powered security copilot and oversee endpoint and server protection, with a focus on secure design and scalable delivery.

You will partner with product, infrastructure, and application teams to embed security by design while delivering automated security outcomes at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience leading security engineering teams delivering cloud-based security platforms.
• Experience building security platforms used by developers and security practitioners at scale.
• Experience leading globally distributed, cross-functional engineering teams.
• Experience hiring, developing, and recognizing engineering leadership talent.
• Experience leading a product as a product owner with roadmap ownership.
• Strong expertise in endpoint, server, and workload protection technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver AI-enabled or automation-driven platforms.
• Experience designing and operating container security across large Kubernetes environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a globally distributed security engineering organization delivering high‑impact platforms and services.
• Own the strategy, execution, and lifecycle management of an AI‑driven security copilot for scaled operations.
• Be accountable for the design, deployment, and operation of endpoint and server antivirus capabilities across environments.
• Own the design, delivery, and operation of container security products across enterprise platforms.
• Drive security platform adoption by embedding controls into developer and operational workflows.
• Set technical direction and architectural standards for security engineering solutions.
• Translate security objectives into measurable engineering roadmaps and outcomes.
• Influence peer leaders and senior stakeholders across the business, product, and technology teams.
• Be responsible for staffing, budget, and relevant profit and loss.
