Job summary

Flutter is seeking a Head of Security Operations & Engineering to lead global security operations and engineering teams. The role focuses on designing scalable, AI-enabled security capabilities and driving proactive defense across cloud environments.

You will collaborate with Architecture, Threat Intelligence, and Engineering to operationalize controls, improve MTTR, and deliver measurable security outcomes at scale. Hybrid work in Ireland and the UK is available.

Qualifications

• Senior technology leadership experience in fast-paced online environments.
• Extensive experience building and transforming security operations centers.
• Proven ability to lead large teams and deliver security outcomes at scale.
• Strong cloud security, DevSecOps, and automation expertise.
• Excellent communication skills with executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Security Operations and Engineering teams securing global services.
• Define and execute Cloud Security Strategy with IT leadership.
• Collaborate with AWS, Wiz, CrowdStrike, Splunk, Cribl for value.
• Integrate AI-driven detection and response into security workflows.
• Mentor teams for incident handling and continuous improvement.
• Establish AI-augmented risk and vulnerability practices.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and data protection.
• Drive DevSecOps practices and cross-team alignment.
