Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Director of Security Engineering to lead a globally distributed team responsible for building and operating security platforms at enterprise scale.

You will own AI-powered security capabilities and partner with product, infrastructure, and application teams to embed security by design while delivering resilient, automated outcomes. You will drive the strategy and execution of security platforms, influence senior stakeholders, and manage staffing, budget, and risk

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams that deliver security solutions in cloud-based platforms and applications.
• Experience building security products and solutions for public cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
• Experience managing cross-functional technologists and product stakeholders.
• Experience hiring, developing, and recognizing talent in security teams.
• Experience leading a product as a product owner or product manager.
• Ability to validate AI-assisted security recommendations with data sensitivity awareness.

Responsibilities

• Leads and scale a globally distributed security engineering organization delivering high-impact platforms and services.
• Owns strategy, execution, and lifecycle management of AI/ML security products and drives platform adoption.
• Influences senior stakeholders across business, product, and technology teams.
• Holds accountability for staffing, budget, and P&L related to security initiatives.
• Delivers reusable security solutions across multiple businesses and domains.
• Drives the execution and continuous improvement of information risk and control strategies for Data & AI/ML services in public cloud.
