Job summary

Citco Group Limited is seeking a senior strategist to lead automation, AI and digital workflow initiatives within Private Assets Operations. The role focuses on determining what to automate, deployment approaches, and measuring realised benefits, partnering with IT and the Transformation Office to scale successful solutions.

With extensive exposure to automation in financial services, you will mentor a pod across multiple delivery areas, ensuring governance and ROI are embedded in every project.

Qualifications

• Proven automation, digital workflow or AI initiatives with real adoption.
• Deep knowledge of private assets processes and automation potential.
• Understanding of workflow orchestration and control implications.
• Commercial judgment on effort vs. benefit and ROI discipline.
• Strong leadership and supervisory experience, including rotations.
• Experience with business planning, budgeting and stakeholder negotiation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Bachelor level degree in accounting/finance/economics; accounting designation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritise automation, digital workflow and AI opportunities.
• Determine approach for each opportunity and build the business case.
• Own deployment standards to ensure reusable, supportable solutions.
• Partner with IT and Transformation Office through build and deployment.
• Define measurable benefits before build and report on realised value.
• Establish governance around automated and AI processes with Risk and Control.
• Coordinate with Tactical Operations on deployed automation for scaling.
• Lead and mentor pod resources, including rotational colleagues.
• Report progress, risks and benefits realisation to EVP and senior stakeholders.
